Cooking Time:45 min

Ingredients
  • 2 medium acorn squash (1-1/4 to 1-1/2 pounds each) (see Tip)
  • 1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3/4 cup peeled, seeded and chopped orange
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Watkins  Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Pierce squash with a fork, and arrange on paper towels in microwave. Microwave on high power for 6 to 7 minutes, or until tender. Cut in half, and remove seeds.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine pineapple, orange, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt; mix well. Spoon evenly into squash halves and place on baking sheets.
  4. Bake uncovered for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the squash is tender.

    This sounds delicious! I know what I’m getting next time I go to the store. I love squash and am always looking for different recipes to try. And just so happens that I have some Watkins Cinnamon. :)
